31 Avs pistion
« on: January 30, 2014, 09:39:46 pm »
Do these pistons  have any offset?I measure the pin out on both sides and seem to be the same. It had a arrow in the direction to flywheel side but I had too shave .022 off the top to get my .035 top of pistion to head clearance and I forgot to mark it. :bash: :bash:. Can this piston run either way? It has only 1 retaining ring on piston to retain pin. Does clip face sump or flywheel side? It's a factory .20 over Avs short skirt piston, flat top Teflon coated for 31 cube single Briggs .thanks for any help fixing my mess up.lol

I just checked my 33 brigs and the arrow points toward the pin retaining ring.
