Stamped steel vs cast iron for engine pulley
« on: January 04, 2006, 10:33:31 pm »
I have been running a stamped steel pulley on my 700
and a cast pulley on my SP motor with no problems

I am thinking about using stamped steel pulley on my new BP because it is lighter

will it hold up or are there any other drawbacks  :?:
Thanks David

I am a teo time National BP champion and I have run stamped steel rom day one. (6 Years) Never had a problem at all. Split one but it was a manufacturing defect.
