I also need help building my first racing mower
it is a 2003 craftsman lt1000  how do i get it to go faster and what type of clutch do i put on it.

i am not racing im just driving it around at my buddy's cottage and going mudding and riding on the trails.

I would also like to know how can i hook up a gas petal to it

We race, other sites are dedicated to mudding. Those sites would be better for what you want to do.

You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!
