Topic: 25 hp Kohler

A buddy of mine has a horizontal 25 hp twin Kohler motor he said I could have for 50 bucks. Problem is it came out of a skid steer loader. Not sure I can use it in anything. What do you all think. Should I or shouldn't I get it.

For 50 dollars for horizontal kohler that runs that's worth 600.

Ok, so the next question is this. Where can I find what model 25 horse kohlers were on mowers. That way I can stick it on my future racer I'm planning on building.

zero turn exmarks do. Some are in cubcadet mowers.

so am I safe to say that since 25 hp kohler motors were in exmarks and cadet mowers and that this motor come out of a skid steer loader of some sort and not a mower. That I could run it in a racing mower if the track I decide to run has this particular class.

Yes you can use it still since you can find them off cadets and exmarks.

went out and looked at the motor . here's what we read off the tag. so can someone tell me what this thing is???
