Cassette's?
« on: July 06, 2013, 03:46:35 pm »
I bought these but now they don't seem to mount correctly, they are kart cassettes.  The adjustment screw will be on the bottom instead of the top, does anyone run them like this?

Tom, i can't tell from the pic but most of them you can take the bolts out and rotate them so you can adjust correctly.

Already looked at that but there are no holes to rotate around to 😜

I have a set of those.   They mout up just fine on the standard weld mounts.
Although I run mine with the adjuster bolt up.

What is the issue?

The way they bolt to the weld plate the adjuster will be facing down with the opening in the plate down.  Maybe I will take all the bolts out and see if they will flip around some way

Do you set it up to drop the axle out the bottom of your mowers Paul?  Only way I can see to use these is to slide the axle in and out of the side

Yes I slide my axles in.      You will never take it out with the cassette

I run these on all my machines, one pusher bolt goes on top and the other I mount at a 90 degree angle to the one coming in from the top. This allows the rear axle to be truly squared with the chassis.
