Topic: helpppp meee what kind of mower is this?????

I got this mower for free. It has a peerless 639a and a 10.5 Briggs flathead.  I plan on building a a/p prepared with it. But I didn't get the hood or fenders for it. Please help me figure out what it is.  This is my first build and first post so wish me luck. Thanks guys.. and girls??? My name is Shaun by the way






O Ya and if anybody know where to find or has fenders and or a hood fpr this iI would love it

its a dynamark 10/36.  should have a 10hp motor and would have been a 36 inch cut deck with rear discharge chute. looks like mid 70's...i have one built as jp. good race mower chassis!!

Those will be very hard to find. They are out there, you just have to be willing to look, and wait.... or spend.

dynamark made mowers for sears and themselves. they should not be to hard to find parts. keep checking ebay and craigslist. as far as building it goes,they are already stamped for a 700 trans to fit in it. brace up the chassis and steering support.cut off the axel hanger brackets and mount your axel up in the tunnel. other than that its a basic build on a good chassis. best of all have fun!!

I'm sure they made a ton of them.. Im going to look at a buddies house and his dad and grandpa have a bunch of old junk mowers. So maybe ill get lucky. Plus he said 20 bucks a mower so I might grab a couple parts mowers while I'm there.

Then.... Let the building (and practice) begin... I really appreciate the responses guys thanks a lot for the info. Now I can give the parts store a brand instead of umm... Its green...

dynamark is only dynamark,the did make mowers for sears but they were still dynamark. murry is it own company. dynamark was not like mtd,they did not make mowers for everyone.

Russ. I guess they all just look so alike. So would I havta run just a dynamark hood to pass tech or could I run a murry or other subsidiary as long as they are owned by the Sam company?? How leniant are the tech guys on body work

the body work would need to be dynamark. the mowers they made for sears had the same body work with a change in decals is all.

I thought it was AMF, Dynamark,Noma I'm just trying to remember way back when I worked at a AMF dealer we sold and serviced all of them. If i am remembering correctly you could than use any hood and fenders from any of them. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will let me know.
