Information on rules at Moose Mountain & West Amboy
« on: May 19, 2013, 10:02:59 pm »
Although we do have general rules for our classes we do invite everyone to come out to both tracks. We will find a spot for you to run. Escpecially if you have a group that wants to run together, we could also prob fit you into one of our classes. That way you will not be running by yourself. Any questions feel free to call.

Moose no longer goes by ARMA. Rusty does still owns the track and does track prep, but the Moose Mountain club runs the track. What I would really like to do is get some guys together and come up with some rules that most everyone could run under. Or atleast ad on or tweak  what we have so when guy's come from other associations we will know excactly what class to put them into. Kart numbers are strong at both tracks, but I would like to see the mowers make a come back to what they used to be.

My wife and I help out and promote for both tracks, and we would like to see the mowers build back up. We are a little more involved with things at Moose. Many of the kart teams run both tracks from week to week and we would like to see the mowers do the same. Both tracks have their own unique attributes they bring to the table.
Also if anyone has not been to Moose Mountain in the last year the track was newly reconfigured in 2012. It now has long straits with big sweeping corners, and lots of room to race. Both track surfaces have come a long way just in the last year and have provided some great racing.

IF YOU BUILD THEM TO ARMA,US AND SOMA RULES, YOUCAN RUN ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY. 8)

Rusty tried for all he was worth to get people in our area to do it. but for whatever reason they rather do what they want. There were a few including myself that built arma mowers, but there were only a handful so the chapter fell apart. Which stinks.

Both tracks are great tracks though.
