So I have a new chassis that powdered & I can't weld on it & I don't have a Tecumseh to try..I made hole just big enough to fit b&s think a tec would fit in thier

I don't have any extra Tecumseh's. The one I have is in my modxr and my back up is all apart waiting to be rebuilt.

I can put a pan, block and head together. if you want to make sure it's going to fit.

Tecumseh, B&S, Kohler, Kawasaki, Robin, Honda -- above 8 hp, they all use an industry-standard mounting pattern for the vertical-shaft engines.  The 6-8 hp engines also use an interchangeable pattern.
