The craftsman is a good mower to build, several of them on here. Go to the builds section and look at the bp build thread by tom fox. That mower is very close to your and should help answer any questions you have. Any other questions feel free to ask on here or you can PM me

any of those 3 would make viable racers!
There are some great racers in Texas, Birdman being one of them and not far from you.

check out the Lone Star Mower Racing Association at www.lsmra.com.
the next 3 races are Marble Falls, Whitney and Ft. Worth.
Then they have several more around 2 hours from you this year!
GREAT year for you to join!

Hey Brandon, welcome to lawnmower racing.  My name is Dennis Drake and I live in Kingsland, not too far from you.  All three of those mowers make sweet racers.   Come to Marble Falls on March 23rd and watch us race and then look me up after the races in the pits and we will talk and don't forget to bring a camera so you can get pics of all the racers so taht you fwon't forget all the ideas you will get there.
