Lake Andes South Dakota Race
« on: February 26, 2013, 10:18:35 pm »
We are going to have a race in a new venue.  It will be May 31st at 7 at Lake Andes, South Dakota.  Its a very nice banked oval track with lights.  It should be a great time.  Were trying to get an idea of who would be willing  to come so that we can get the trophies in order.

This is a new track that we have been working on with a local in Lake Andes that has experience in running race tracks.  It should be a great track .  What do you have for local class mowers?  I hope that we can get a great turn out for this race as it is closer to more racers.

We have talked before.  I have several stock class, a modified, and maybe an outlaw...  Our group runs on a track about 25 miles from Lake Andes three time a year.

If your classes conform to uslmra safety rules and has a billet flywheel if un governed.  It would be great to have you and your group join us.  We can fit you into our classes. I remember talking to you Chuck

Casey

That is actually a race I could make depending on how planting and spraying goes.

Only 4.5 hrs for me.

As you get more info please pass it on.

From what I can tell reading your class rules we could race your outlaws with the fxt's.  They would have to have a billet flywheel and be a 22 hp class motor which leaves it fairly open.  Only ruling out some of the big block twins. Just take a quick read through on the uslmra rules to make sure you don't see any thing.

The address of the track is 1010 Main Street Lake Andes South Dakota, 57356. River Hills Motel and lounge is the motel. The place also has hookups for 15 campers on the property, so you could be close to the people staying in the motel. The number to that place is 1-605-487-7680. If no one answers just leave a message.
The track straight away is 90 to 95 feet long

Hey boxcar... I talked to the people putting this thing on two nites ago. It is a go for sure. Can't speak for the guys on here, but we will try to be there. We will have at least three of our local class mowers to run.  Also, we have 15 - 17 races a year between Pukwana, Armour, and a traveling race. Check out Pukwanamowerracing.com. Pm me with questions. Will try to answer questions you might have.  CHUCK
