Just curious....anyone know if there is a white layer under the black sidewall like on a car tire? Been thinking about white walls for the rat rod look.

I doubt it.

And if you showed up to the track with the sidewalls ground I bet tech wouldn't be happy.
Duplicolor has paint pens for tires that work well.

You use to be able to buy glue on false whitewalls the you glued to you tires. You might check in to that and just cut them down to size. I have a few  laying around but threre for 17 rims on old 50's truck.

Again the tech guy won't like that either.

I would think the automotive glue on sidewalls would be safe. They are safe to go down the highway at way faster speeds than we reach, also they are made to go a lot faster than our mower tires are made to go. i would like to see a ratrod mower.

I thought about a finding a 1960's mower and give it a patina paint job and white walls. Everyones mowers look too "pretty" sometimes.. LOL

I would love to find an old school painter to hand letter on my hood :)

I like this idea. I don't like maintaining shiny stuff.

I guess Pantina takes twice as much work as a shiney paint job. It does look cool.. I always likes painted on lettering. I had an old drag car from teh early 1980's with painted letting. I miss that car.. LOL
