6" Douglas wheels
« on: January 21, 2013, 09:22:22 am »
Ok I'm about to drive myself crazy with this one. I'm looking for a 6" diameter, 7" wide Douglas standard bolt pattern wheel with 2 1/2" backspacing. I would like to have the "classic spun" polished finish wheel but google isn't helping me find anything. Does anybody know if somethin like this is even available? If not I guess it's off to a "machined" wheel. Thanks for the help in advance

Try American Powersports.  You could also look on Reikins racing

Zach, 706-10 is a polished 6x7.25 wheel with 2.5" backspace. 6x7 wheels do not exist from DWT with a 2.5" back space.

Zach, 706-10 is a polished 6x7.25 wheel with 2.5" backspace. 6x7 wheels do not exist from DWT with a 2.5" back space.

I learned the hard way and finally broke down and called Douglas this morning, Ryan. I ended up going with a van k wheel. Polished 6x7 with 2.5" backspace in stock at comet kart sales and they will be here tomorrow after work. The 2.5" back space is critical for the enduro style brakes I have. Anything more than that will make caliper mounting impossible.

Brian, I had never heard of Turk brothers. That's a name I will have to remember.

Thanks for everybody's help

I saw those after I placed my order yesterday George. Being that 7" is an odd width I didn't even think to ask if you guys had them. Thanks for the heads up!
