Offering this unique matching pair of 2-tooth differential axle spider gears for Peerless 820-Series transaxles and for 1200- and 1300-Series transaxles that use 1"-diameter axle shafts, 10-tooth differential sun-gear spiders and 16-tooth axle spider gears.

This 2-piece gearset "locks" the differential while allowing the original axles and differential to be kept intact. Simply replace the original 16-tooth axle spider gears (Peerless IPL Reference 13) with these two gears and both axle shafts will turn the same, just like a one-piece axle. These new gears are Made-in-the-USA from SAE 8620 alloy, hardened to Rc 58-62, the same alloy and heat-treat specification used for other Peerless steel-cut, heat-treated gears.

NOTE for 3/4"-axle transaxles: If your transaxle has 3/4"-diameter axles and you would like a set of differential-lock gears for it, see our other Diffy-Lock Gear Listing, Gearset Upgrade 5.

If your differential cross-shaft gears are worn and/or questionable and you would like to replace them at the same time, we can supply these as well.

This Gearset costs $78.00.  Price includes shipping within the USA. I can ship this Item worldwide. Gearset will be packaged safely and shipped USPS Priority Mail Insured with Delivery Confirmation within the USA immediately upon receipt of proper payment.
Since this price includes shipping, the price will be adjusted if more than one Gearset is purchased for shipment to the same address at the same time.

No sales tax if sold outside Missouri. Bates County sales tax of 5.225% must be charged to a Missouri Buyer.

PAYMENT Options --
PREFERRED: We prefer a money order, bank draft or certified check payment. We can also accept a business or personal check, but these require a 4-7 day clear period...except...we consider a check drawn on a Credit Union the same as a certified check.
PAYPAL...might be a possibility.  Check with us.
INTERNATIONAL:  Check with us about international payment options.

Sincerely,

Would anyone who is using these diffy-lock gears be willing to add their two-cents worth as to their liking for them?

Sincerely, Rodney

A good companion gift to go with the Gearset Upgrade 1 or Gearset Upgrade 2 for Christmas...

EC kit includes a solid axle for $110.

Never ran either but I'd lean toward the solid axle that EC offers.

CJ,

The advantage of this gearset is it allows the differential to remain intact, should you ever, for whatever reason, decide you want to use the differential again.  All you need to do is re-install the original spider gears.
On the other hand, if you went with the EC kit, you would still have the complete differential/axles/spiders assembly you could re-install if you wanted a differential again.
   Decisions, decisions...
