MHLMR Raffle Mower
« on: August 01, 2012, 11:05:46 pm »
Thought I would share a few pics of the mower we built to raffle off to help fund our club. Its not 100% done yet but its really close. We debuted it at the USLMRA Pacific Open on the 4th of July. Let us know what ya think.

This mower was built by MoKart Industries (myself, Scott McFarlane, and Tim Dennison) to run in the S/P class.

Stock 12hp briggs (donated by monasty47)
1" live axle
hydraulic brake
fancy aluminum clutch (from BoNewCo)
all aluminum wheels and brand new rubber on all 4 corners
Foote transmission
Single brake/clutch peddle

i believe its a sabre. after seeing it in the shop, i want to find one of those chassis now. thanks for the mention Aaron, it was just a good running stocker engine i was not going to use. the mower is a real work of art, and you guys did a great job on it. :D

Im a little biased but they make a pretty good looking racer (they are ugly in stock form). They are a pain to strip down tho, everything is spot welded so be prepared to spend a lot of time disassembling it

You mean as far as purchasing raffle tickets?

Just thought I would give a little update on our club raffle mower. The lucky fella who won it only spent $25 on tickets. We were selling them 1-$10 or 3-$25 and were able to raise over $2000 for our club. The winner takes the her home today at our end-of-year meeting.

Great thanks to the Sponsors and Builders:

I'm disappointed I have to let it go lol

We are starting the next one this winter. I was contemplating offering the raffle online as well, but apparently its illegal to have a raffle online... so that's out of the question lol
