The hands have never been used before and I don't have a compression gauge so any ideas how I could do one, I have a race on Sunday...

Most parts houses have adapters that will accept an air fitting and screw into the plug hole. They are called anti foulers used on engines that burn a lot of oil to recess the plug. You can put that in the plug hole and put air to it that way.

What I do is remove the push rods and install the adapter in the plug hole. Then I turn the air pressure on the compressor down to 20psi. Then hook the air hose to the adapter slowly (this bottoms the piston out in the cylinder) and listen for leeks. I forgot to mention remove the oil cap first.

I made mine from old spark plugs. Smash the porcelin out and braze or weld a fitting to it.

Just a thought but you haven't changed the kill wire that goes between the coils? We had a kawi that was backfiring on one cylinder when the other one would fire. The Kawi we had didn't run a diode in the harness to prevent crossfire, the one we had was a two barrel so it was easier to isolate.

Like Larry said they were bought and sold between people, i hallowed out an old plug and connected it to my within with a hose both intake valves aren't seating properly so were gonna tear them apart and Lapp them tomorrow before the race and I'll be putting on the stock spacer so no more leakage there too

We lapPed the valves and put the right spacer in it, no more backfiring but I couldn't get the carb adjusted right for good throttle response it was spudering when id get on the throttle coming out of the corner but the good. News is I placed first in the feature..... That's because the two guys that were in my glass for the feature went home
