I just picked up a Lawn Cheif with 10" rear wheels. Thinking these will give more room for brake using a 3/4" transaxle.

Anyone here use 10" wheels? If so what tires?

TIA

10" wheels with 3/4 axle? Usually that's a 1" 820.........

If it's an 820, you should just pull it out and send it to me....everyone knows transaxles are slow  bigsmile

I am guessing you just want to use the 10" wheels off it, and a different transaxle? Any 10" wheeled turf tire will be pretty tall from what I have seen. Usually 20-22" and up.

Also note, Depending on your sanctioning body, 10" wheels may not be legal.  I don't believe ARMA or US offer a class where 10" wheels would be legal.

Sounds like a garden tractor.  10's are a little too tall unless you run a super mod/fxt, and then they may not be legal.

You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!
