I just bought a running intek vtwin because it had an aluminum intake manifold but when I got home I realized it was a single barrel carb. So I have decioded to mildly build this motor for my brother in law but I dont know if that carb will work out. I was wandering if anyone had ever experimented with these carbs and how they perform the motor is a 40ci intek vtwin. Thanks

I messed with alot of inteks but never tryed the one barrel carb. The one barrel on the 18hp vanguard i know is a very good carb works really good i dont know if its the same carb on the intek. Some john deere's have a 44ci with a single carb and i know as a lawn mower they work very well.

Ive seen several v twin inteks with the single carb. All that Ive seen have the nikki single carb. Not sure how it would be if it were modified.
