Our track is smooth enough that i do not need to use breaks i let of the throttle

not using your breaks as you go into the corner just means your not going as fast as you can on the straight-aways haha  3gears

A good chasse set up will reduce the need for breaks unless you need to stop.  I run the same track Mike does with a Super Modified twin and don’t use breaks 99% of the time. We have nice track lots of room in the corners. But I here when you have a Big bad motor you need more breaks not too sure about that yet. I have a 44 Intec with springs, flywheel, and big bore carb. That’s about it.

well to end this post more or less i just wanted to know if there was a significant change in length going from a 1/2 to a 5/8. It gets expensive to change a belt every 2 races.
