Where do you guys get your pedals from? I've seen a bunch of guys that had the same pedal and the same bearing/holder thing to hold it in place.

I'm not sure what it's called or where to get it, but theres one on this mower:

What like to know where you can get (I could make one) but more-less where you get the bearing mount for the pedal.

I hope you guys know what I'm talking about, Kinda hard to explain haha.

------------------------------------------------

While i'm on the subject of brake stuff... I'm going to run the Mod-X arma class with a 42ci oppy, do you guys run your brakes/clutch setup together, or have your brake separate from your clutch so that you wouldn't have to disengage the clutch and reengage everytime you hit the brakes?

Thanks much! Cody

Thats the original pedal that came on the mower, it lokks to me.  You can drill holes in brackets and mount them on the bottom of the footboaard, or use tubing welded there for the pivot.  The bearing thingy is just a lock collar to keep it off of the footboard
check the build sections for a prepared chassis and see what they have done

Thats not the origional pedal.  I made those pedals.

1/2" round mild steel and a torch.  Clamp it up in a vise and bend away.  Then grind a flat on the portion under the frame where you tighten you linkage to.

You can weld some 1/2" lock collars to the bottom of your floor boards and use that as your bearing surface.

You will have a seperate clutch and brake pedal.  You will not touch your clutch once you are racing once you are in your race gear unless you need to stop in a hurry and dont want to snub the engine out.

Better brakes = better lap times

You will have 1 pedal for your clutch, and 1 pedal running to your master cylinder.  Check my build, or check anyones build.  There are tone of examples out there.  The puch pull style clutch is very popular.  EC sells them or if your crafty you cam make your own with a little flat stock.

Azusa Engineering go-kart pedals work well for some folks. The pedals on my CP are built in a straight Z pattern instead of a U shape like the picture. Same concept, pivots at the frame, under the foot-board. A slot cut in the foot board allows for pedal travel. Biggest difference, the open side of my pedal faces OUT, not much room to get your foot caught in the event of a crash.

you can also buy the bearing housing for spindles from ec and weld it in place its relatively cheap and eliminates slop in the pedals

I think BoNewCo has one of the coolest brake pedal/mastercylinder mounts around. I just can't figure out how to mount it so I can get my fenderdeck off without removing the brake pedal setup.  As soon as I get that figured out I 'm gonna buy me one of them rascals!!

Ts, You could possible get a piece of angle iron and weld it to the bottom of the assembly, Drill two 1/2 holes, cut you a slit through the floorboard, slide the angle through the slit, then drill you two 1/2 holes in the floor board and put you some flat head bolts through there to hold it in place. Just an idea, I dunno if you know what I'm saying haha but I figure i'd work.

Assembly does look awesome btw!
