Offset flywheel key installation

Does anyone have a picture that shows a correctly installed offset flywheel key? I have put a #3 offset key in a 28 ci B&S flathead, but I'm not sure I did it correctly, it just doesn't look right to me, but I've never seen one before. The key came from e.c. distributing. Thanks for any help with this.

Even if you don't have a picture, a verbal description would be appreciated. Shoot, even a vague, somewhat confusing, hard to follow set of directions will likely beat what I have now, which is a mostly uneducated guess.

If a regular key aligns the key-ways, installing an offset key so that the fly wheel slot is moved in the direction of rotation, you are advancing the timing. Henceforth installing the key to mis-align the slots the opposite way will retard the timing.

The hub clockwise on the crankshaft, the key would be offset to the right,
looking down from the top to advance it.
