Hoosier tire 11.0x5.5x6

The rules state in supermod that there must be a 1 1/2 inch ground clearance. I am currently running a 13x6.5x6 Carlie Turfmaster and wanting to go to a Hossier tire 11x5.5x6. I have 1/2 inch of adjustment in the spindles and the mower is currently sitting just slightly over 1 3/4 inches. Would this tire work or should I find a different tire, thanks for all your help I really appreciate it very much.

All depends on how bumpy the tracks are you race on.   Some guys won't go under 2"    I know of a green Deer that kept getting grass clumps stuck under the rear

Alot of that is going to depend on what wheel the tires are mounted on.
Just going by the numbers....(which never ever works)
Your new tire would lower the mower 1" to 3/4", if you jacked your 1/2" adjustment all the way up you would still be only 1 1/4"...not enough.

The only way to be certain is measure both mounted tires.

those tires on a 6 in wheel will come out to be around a 32.75-33 roll out  depending on the pressure. good thing with them you can jack the air up and stretch them about another inch. not sure what your current tire would roll out to be . if you have to you could also make new raised spindles so the axle is setting at the bottom of the carrier instead of the middle like most do that could give you some more clearance. we do that on karts to help on tracks that need alot of cross %

I don't think there is  minimum height anymore. The US has changed it, but it may not be posted yet. Correct me if I am wrong please.
