WHATS WRONG WITH THIS WELDER

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY MY WELDER WELDS LIKE THIS SOMETIMES?

Those look like my normal welds....  J/K, I tell folks I can get two pieces of metal to stick to each other but I'm not a very neat welder....  but it looks to me like that might be a grounding issue....  the current could flow better in one area than the other.

it aint got enough shielding gas coming out of the nozel or it could the old man pulling the trigger

I HAVE 30CFM OF GAS. SO THE GAUGE READS. ILL LOOK AT THAT CLOSER. IT STARTED DOING THAT YESTERDAY.

are you welding outside?  or anywhere with a breeze?  this is what you get when your shield gas gets blown from the welding surface, or if you are not using enough or any shield gas.  how far is is the electrode tip inside the nozzle of the gun?  make sure the tip is centered in the nozzle, and you should be using nozzle dip to keep the schmeg off the cone.  if the cone is all obstructed itll divert the gas from the work area.  that is not a "normal weld"  that is porosity and is brittle.  it will fail. all weld that is laid down and looks like that should be ground out and rewelded.

ITS FIXED AND WELDING LIKE A CHAMP. WHERE THE GAS HOSE COMES OUT OF THE WELDER, IT WAS NOT SEATED PROPERLY. CLEAND IT REINSTALLED PROPERLY AND NOW I HAVE PLENTY OF GAS COMING OUT THE NOZZLE. THANKS FOR THE REPLIES.

I GROUND IT DOWN AND REWELDED. LOOKS GREAT NOW. I KNOW IT WILL HOLD AND NOT BREAK NOW. THANKS.

WELL THE WELDER SEEMS TO BE WORKING AS GOOD AS NEW NOW. I JUST NEED TO FINISH IT NOW SO IT CAN GET PAINTED. RUNING OUT OF TIME.
