One time I was working on a 1982 AMC Reliant and found a secret portal to another universe on top of one of the pistons. After removal it ran great.

Thats funny! I wanna know how this works. I have been trying to use thongs for years uncuccesfully to solve lifter ticks and main bearing noises. Maybe I have been going about it all wrong. Maybe I need to first find a girlfriend and use her thongs to be succesful, or maybe it is the oil weight, or maybe the moon phase. Just not sure!

It's the size of the thong! XXL is never as good as a size 2.

The 28 flatty I'm building now came to me with the rod in thousands of pieces in the pan, oh and also a brand new in perfect condition Snapon 1/2 deep well socket in the cylider, ran the hone down the cylider to break the glaze, and only one ding at the very botttom of the cylnder, the plastic gear on the oil slinger is still white. Grandpa said back in the 70's when he was at diesel mechanics school they found a quarter imprinted in a detroit 466 piston, it was heads up so they left it and it ran for the next 20 years as the tear down and put back together learners motor never replacing the piston, still has that piston in it today and sits with one head removed to show the qurter.
