Hegar front brake question
« on: January 23, 2012, 08:49:34 pm »
I'm installing my first set of front brakes. They are Hegar and I am using a MCP master cylinder. Do you run a line to each front caliper straight from the master cylinder? If so, do you have to run equal length lines to each caliper? or does it affect pressure if you run different length lines?

The lines do not have to be equal length. Once their bled it doesn't make any difference.

I don't have front breaks. But it's just like break lined on a car. One can be 20 feet long an one can be 2 inches. Once bleed properly it will work fine.

You will probably need some sort of flow control in-line to adjust the flow so they don't lock up quick
