Same here George, using the same ones myself-straight from the factory that way....no more arma races for me!

Ok guys , I have watched this for long enough.  It is true that his fender does not have 1" in of vertical material even in stock form. Due to the design of this fender with its compound angles, it provides a very substantial platform even without the said one inch of material.  This fender IS ARMA legal, as long as there are not DRASTIC modifications.  Anytime when working with metal, sharp edges need to be addressed (those remaining from flaring, cutting etc.) as they present a definite safety issue.  The intent of the one inch material rule was put in place not to hinder drivers' creativity but to ensure driver safety and reliability in the event of a crash.  Anyone who does not believe that this rule was put in there for this reason needs to re-evaluate their questioning of the rule.  If anyone has any questions concerning this post feel free to contact me directly.

Thank you Aaron.  I appreciate you evaluating the need for this allowance.  This is why I originally began building my mowers to fit ARMA rules, they (ARMA) was more accepting of different styles and or build tastes.
You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!

In Mod-XR the rules say you can make air filter mods does this mean the EC filter adapter is legal or just after market filters in the stock box?

The deck halves are required in all classes except Pro-X and Super-Mod Single & Twin. These act as a,... if you will, "Nurf Bar" and will deter an incoming wheel from the side. It also retains the "Look" of a Riding Lawn Mower.  In theory, they should extend out as far as the outer edge of the wheels.(Check the rules to see if you can extend father out). These can be welded or bolted on. “Nurf Bars” are allowed
too to enhance the safety of the deck halves.(Discretionary)

Front Bumpers are ONLY allowed in the Super Mod Classes. Rear Bumpers are recommended for all classes and are required for the Super Stock class.
