Can anyone give me the out put bearing number for the 700-060. An equivalent bearing number not the peerless number.
Thanks Mark

Why not the peerless number? Just wondering. You could probably get the peerless number from outdoor distributors at a reasonable price. It may be worth the few bucks between the two bearings to save you the headache in chasing something aftermarket.

I read a post on here somewhere that said front wheel bearings might work. Next time I have mine open, I'll take some measurements and let you now.

I doubt it, front wheel hub bearings are wider than the output bearing in the tranny case if memory serves correctly.

I know on mine there were a couple of shims next to the bearings. Maybe if you took them out?

The only shims in mine to adjust sideplay in the shaft. And that was only .030 per side. Unless your case is cut different than mine was. I had all OE stuff so I guess the skys the limit.

Outdoor Distributors are $35.50 a piece Just looking to get them cheaper at the local bearing house. Thanks Mark

If you know the Peerless number on the bearing, you can go to an online bearing cross reference and cross it over.

Mark, Pulled mine apart and took some measurements for yah. Width of the factory bearings is 11/32, O.D. is 1 3/8", and Bore of 5/8". Width of the bearings with shims is 17/32 in my case. I also had a wheel bearing laying around, and it's width came out to be 7/16 or 14/32, and O.D. of 1 3/8". It looks to me if I took two of the thin shims out, the wheel bearing should work perfectly. Picture of bearings side by side:
Also, McMaster Carr Part Number 60355K705 matches factory size for $8.03

With those measurements I found these #'s R10-2RS, R10- 2NSL for sealed and R10ZZ for shielded.

No problem, just realized you posted that you found what you needed right before my post! The mcmaster number I posted is for the sealed bearings.
