sears SS14 wiring prob

im working on a sears ss14 and the current witing is junk someone tried and all the wires are red and when i hooked the battery up it sparked theres no switch or selinoid so i need to rewire it all and i cannot find a schematic its old 1960swith old starter/alt  and volt regulator if anyone can help let me know

Oooffff good luck with that one phil... those are a nightmare sometimes you can find diagrams on cub cadet enthusiast web sites but seein as how that prolly has an indian on it none of it will prolly cross over... I used to know how to wire one but its been a while since I have but tell them to put a vtwin on it they are better on gas anyways...
There's somethin' in the works...
