Kawasaki 460 or 540 Valve Springs
« on: September 07, 2011, 03:27:17 pm »
Would adding heavier valve springs like the ARC Racing trick springs (DJ-1055WA Improved Trick Springs for Box Stock) help my FB460 or FC540?  By changing springs, what issues would I run into or am I better off leaving these motors stock?  Thank you for your help.  Just looking for easy engine modifications.  I need to run stock flywheel, but any other mods are ok.  Can you recomend a good motor builder?

Or the Briggs 28 ARC springs will work too. The stock are fine, unless you are using a performance cam.
The stock spring should take you up to around 6K.
