And do you have any pics of how you mounted the hall sensor? I'm attempting to hook mine up to a Vanny twin and i cant seem to find a good spot where it will come close to the magnet. That L bracket setup is a little funky for mounting.

Havn't put it on a vanny run mine on a briggs single then my indian single but no pics.

We have one on ours, we mounted it at the 9 o'clock position in the little rib. Used two 1"ish tubes as spacers to get it centered on the flywheel magnet. Sorry, no picture right now but hope it helps. I'll see if I can find a picture later.

I have attached a picture pointing to where we placed the hall sensor. In the little rib with 2 mini bolts through the holes in the sensor with 1" spacers on the bolts to get the correct placement on the flywheel. Hopefully the picture works

thats a nice looking motor what did u use for paint on it

It is not painted, that is bare, just cleaned well  

It has since gotten a little dirtier, and at one point was completely covered in gear oil.. not cool.
