Ways of changing timing?
« on: April 14, 2011, 02:12:05 pm »
What is the best way to change timing?  Can you simply modify the coil mount (slot the coil) and move it?  Or is it better to change keys?

Much easier to use a key.

How so?  It seems like pulling the fly off and on to get the correct timing would be a pain.  Plus it is not as fast or easy to change if you want to at a race.

You cant get to the coil without taking off the engine shroud, so how would that be any faster?

Buy a adjustable ARC flywheel. Can change timing with out taking everything apart.
It be loosen and adjusted the hub thru the shroud and it also timing marks for more precise timing set up.
