did this actually go anywhere? Or did anyone actually build one of these?
I am trying to build one for my dad, but some of these parts are proving difficult to find  especially the micro processor and variable resistor.   I would love to have the processor already programmed if anyone can help please pm me

  thanks

Nevermind I found it all. But the cost to build one is quite a bit more.

Does anybody know what happened with him?? He seemed like he was pretty into this kind of stuff and where it could go in the sport and just disappeared.

The last I remember reading on here was he had some medical problems. Never heard an update on him.

Jegs. Junior Dragster section.  I think it's all there.  You oughta just not worry about the giant motor clock on the hood and get you a tiny tach, I believe they do have peak recall.

It's not like a tach really does much for ya. Gear it to where you want the motor to stop pulling on the straight away and rip it. In a race you will spin it a couple hundred more rpm if the cards happen to fall that way, just to try and out do the next guy. You don't have time to watch a tach anyways!

I agree and dont plan on watching it. Ive repaired one digitron tach already and ive got another that will probably have to be sent off to have it repaired also. Ive got a nice 3" autometer tach with a max recall button that ive had for 3 years that I ran in an off road vw Beatle for over a year and works great. Just thought would work just as good as the repaired tachs that I have to keep sending in. Plus analog tachs look cool  8) hahaha

Not a bad back up plan for sure. I had digatrons for a while and they were always burning up or going stupid. I switched to a mychron. If you do ya definately won't regret it!!!

I think his address and phone number are in another post about rev limiters. Check his other posts.
