I am doing research for an R&D project of mine that is based on a four wheeler.  My question is; Is there a four wheeler out there 500 cc or larger with swing arm rear suspension and an open differential? (The rear wheels need to spin independently) I'm not looking to buy one yet, just trying to see if one exists.

All i can say is Honda never made that in there ATV for the rear

A Honda TRX350 from the late 80, have a swing arm on the front and its open diferential, can not be locked

http://www.atvrideronline.com/tested/100_0306_polaris_atp_4x4/index.html

Polaris ATP 500 H.O.  No longer in production, but has a selectable open rear differential ans swingarm suspension. I work with a guy who had one. Not a bad machine if you dont mind having a box on the back.

It is just an idea that I have.  I need to prove my theories before I reveal any more details.
