That is what I call a blown engine. After the initial shock that guy probably wanted to cry.

 I think that guy was really lucky that nothing that blew up hit him. It looks like the front of the roll cage is all exposed and open. I wonder what in the heck happened. That engine was airborne!

There diesels but run on nitro I think or some methane gas. BIG Power!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I am pretty sure the first on was ( :omg:) an Allison V-12, there out of older planes. I translated the Dutch to English, and it stats that it's and alky burner.

Also pretty sure they're twin cork screwed aswell.

The block broke and the cylinder pressure alone pushed it up in the air. He is pretty lucky, that could have landed anywhere. That's one time you want your shield down on your helmet. :doh:
