Ok fellas here's what I have to work with. It's a 12hp Craftsman originally had a 38" deck and believe it's a mid 90's model. I got it for next to nothing so it should be a good start. It starts right up and is smoke free, it already has a 4" front pully and a 5.5" rear pully new belt and a straight pipe. I opened it up in a parking lot and found the steering is loose and downright scary and don't think the brakes work:omg:
I've been researching the builds section and after seeing Tom Fox's Craftsman BP build I have found my starting point. I'm going to leave the motor alone and focus on the steering and drive line/Brake. I'll have to strip it down to a rolling chassis and farm out some of the custom work to the pros
Let me know what everyone thinks and have a Merry Christmas

I have got some MCP hydraulic brakes for sale if you are interested. It is a complete brake setup (master cylinder, caliper, pads, rotor, hub).
