i have an 86 mtd 7 speed with the transaxle im in the process of making it a racer im new to this so tryin to fgure out as i go  i wuz wondering wut pulleys i should run on it? and if just flipping the pulley that comes off the motor would work sinc it has the bigger one on botom already?  thanks any info would be greately appreciated

I'd go ahead and get rid of the variable speed transaxle, it won't hold up for racing.

What class are you planning to run in?  That will make a difference on the pulleys.  Also your transaxle or transmission will make a difference as well.

I doubt it.   This thread is from 2010.  He hasn't logged on sence then either.
