so I take it the clutch pedal is mounted on the right side.  could it have been mounted on the left side?
I got the same clutch from EC and I was going to mount it on the left side,  dose it make a difference?

The clutch itself MUST be mlounted on the slack side of belt not the pull side thus the right side.

Thats what I figured after thinking about it,  I knew there was a pull side and a push side,  just forgot it .  But thanks for the answer    Bob

About how much did you add to the chassis to get the fender clearance?

I've seen this racer first hand and it has inspired me and my son to build a racer as a father son project.

I've built pulling tractors but this will be our first racer.
