It does'nt really matter what the turbo's came off of. No matter what turbo you use it will be a combination of custom and universel parts anyways.
A easy to find small fast spooing turbo would be the IHI off of the old Mazda 2.2 626 or 1G Ford Probe, it's known as the VJ-11. A T25 would be the next availible small turbo, unless you can find a 13b (I think thats what it is) a single turbo from a twin turbo 3000GT would be small and easy to get.

V8 in a mower is USELESS!!! DAA DAA DAAAA!!!

All it’s for is noise!! I bet you can’t even run the censored thing for an hour; it would probably break, over heat, and or run out of gas…

Why didn’t the owner just bolt a seat and some wheels onto the block of that motor?

I read that the second one (MURRAY BODY) was using a SAAB turbo.

It would be interesting to see how these perform on a modified mower that has the proper brakes and steering. So far all the ones I've seen are on stock chassis  tard

These builders take the time to engineer a set-up but never take full advantage of the extra (if any) HP they may be producing.

Oh well.....

Both of those guys are idiots. What on earth is the purpose of putting a turbo on a push mower?!?!? And clouds of smoke and loud knocking sounds from the engine are not good either noplease

Both of those videos got rated 1 star.

^^an 8hp with supercharger and efi....(this ones a real basket case)

the middle engine says it will turn 8000 rpm with no problems, which we all know is bs since the valves would start to float and all kinds of other stuff.

looking at these videos, i believe that a 10hp or so would spool a small turbo. if you listen to the forst engine, you can hear and see the turbo working. whether or not it spools it fast enough to get any gains in power, thats unknown.

i dont think it will add much because if you listen you can here the motor lag and then spool up-so i mean you have almost no llow end, and probably not much high end either.  ui tihnk turbos are more for the novelty than performance on such little engines.  maybe if a machinist could make a trubo small enough then thatd be really cool.  but youd have to be a censored good machinst to get the parts to fit right and have the correct clearances.  but im sure it could be done.

What a bunch of crap. ALL o these guys would get maybe 2 laps around the track before their engines blew up. Its bad enough to run an engine ungoverned, but super-bad to run them at that high of an RPM.  and the kids with no shoes? priceless.

well... maybe, but I don't see how an engine would stay together for very long running like that. Guess I'm a bit old-fashioned though.
