hard to start

I have been building my racer for about 2 weeks now and i cant seem to get it running, it ran last year with no problems,it also ran saterday but it wouldnt rev.  SO dose anyone know wat that problem could Be?

Need a little more info...like..

1. What is it we're talking about..?? make model

2.a.What's it doing..or b. Not doing...?

3. What have you tried so far..?? Besides turn the key and wear the battery down..?

its a briggs 14.5 and ive checked the spark and poured gas into the carb and then changed pluggs
