*Belt life*

What kind of belt life should we expect, running green power-rated
belts? I realize that we are cranking higher than stock speeds since we
are ungoverned. Our belt has gotten pretty thin this weekend and is
slipping beyond what I'm sure can be adjusted out...

We do have a confession to make though... the racer was working double
duty this weekend... we were trimming trees, and used it in first gear
to tow branches! None of the really heavy ones, just the light ones.. we
used the garden tractor and the Dakota for the heavy stuff...

I have run a whole season on my BP belts. Never had any luck with the
green power rated belts. I use only the red Kevlar belts. You can have a
mower shop order them from Rotary.
