when you guys set up your steering do you put the pitman arm at a 90* angle to the frame with the wheels and steering wheel straight or in other words it would be parallel with the steering arm on your spindle when wheels are straight? that is how I set mine but im getting way more left turn vs right turn
I've been watching there web site for a set if there 5 on 4 galvanized hubs only 15 bucks a piece but they have been out of stock for a few weeks now anyone know when they might get them back or some where else to get them for that kind of price ??
I have about six or eight inches of frame that extends past the front axle can I legally do away with that as it is in the way of my steering arm and from what I seen a lot of people are making custom mounts for the front of there hoods anyways ?
I'm referring to the arm that is welded to the spindle that gets connected to the pitman arm. I was wondering if I could get some pics to see how it's set up and how you mad it I've looked at the one on the ec spindles and it looks a little complicated to make so was wondering if there were other options .
I'm trying to decide what size tires to run up front I have 6.5 wide wheels and was wondering if I should go with a 6 or 6.5 wide tire also if I go with a 7 inch wide rear wheel should I run the 6.5 or 7.5 tire ?? Any input is greatly apriciated.
was wondering if this was a good starting point to build my first racer its been sitting in the yard for years also what parts might be good to use from it or what parts do I need to look for and what class would this be a good build for im in the east TN area and I am 25 looking for a new hobby and this seemed like a good time a relatively cheap hobby thank you for any info
