Thanks tank I did some research and the 1050 gearbox looks to be a bit heavier duty with cast iron case I'mggoing to try and locate one of those units just don't know if it's a 1:1 ratio.

Some type of Check valve of some sort upon pickup entry could work.
7  Mower Building / Setup Help / Driveline / Re: Using transaxles as transmissions on: March 27, 2014, 10:43:41 PM
I wouldn't think it would be much more different than the other transmissions honestly because it'sjust like a 700  with an axle mounted to it. It's almost kinda like an overdrive!!!!

Safety is my main priority after switching pulleys around on just an unmodified mower it was a scary experience doing 35 on a basically what felt like a wet noodle so we are staying as close to the rule book as possible with the of run what you bring a few of our guys got some pretty wild engine set ups I'm still debating whether to use my twin opposed or my 23 horse Kohler pro twin but I'm after the torque of the oppy

Or would smaller carbs from like a 300 be better
14  Engine Help / Briggs Flathead / Re: how many cc's is this motor on: May 24, 2013, 07:25:20 AM
So if I were to run two carbs off of some Honda 4 wheelers on each cylinder I could use two 350 carbs from the 4 wheelers per cylinder
