4  General / Coffee Shop / stupid question from a newbie on: April 23, 2012, 11:17:06 AM
I have a frame from a Murray wide body but the running boards, and grille are rusted thru . I also have a Snapper that the frame is trashed on . My question is can I use a wide body frame and the Snapper body parts and be legal ? or try to find a grille for the widebody and make the running boards ? thanks, fatboy
5  General / Coffee Shop / Please help me make a decision on: March 16, 2012, 09:39:05 PM
I have 2 mowers that I think might be worth working from. First frame is a Murray wide body and the second is a Snapper 38 with the plastic motor cover. The first motor I have is a B&S 14.5 hp ohv- stock and the second motor is a B&S 656 cc twin (I think its 16.5 hp) its also stock. The transaxles I have are peerless 802c and a peerless 600 and what ever trans that came stock on a Snapper. If these are all you had to start from . Where would you start ? any help would be considered ... Thanks, Fred
