3  Mower Building / Setup Help / Driveline / RAGB Lubricant Level on: March 20, 2014, 09:36:46 PM
Looking for some RAGB info.  I've searched and found the types of lubricants that racers are using in their RAGB but haven't found the amount to put in the RAGB.  What's the rule-of-thumb on these?  Cover the bottom pinion gear or fill up to the bottom of the output shaft?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.
4  Race and Event Announcements / USLMRA Races / Possible USLMRA National Race on: March 02, 2013, 08:43:05 PM
The Arkansas Lawn Mower Racing Association is contemplating hosting a USLMRA national points race in Paragould, AR.  We are looking at June 15th & 16th.  Before we finalize the race, we were wondering who might be interested in joining us.  I know that there are no national races in this area.  We would love to have as many racers as possible from outside Arkansas.  I think we have a great location and the track will have 150-175' straights and 80' wide in-field.
5  General / Post your Pics! / Pics of my new CP on: August 11, 2011, 10:04:37 PM
Started this past January on a new CP and finally got it competely finished.  I've raced it at three races and love the way it handles.  It practically drives itself.  Mine's the lime green JD.

Here's another pic.
6  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / HD Starter/Flywheel Gap on: April 10, 2011, 08:52:42 PM
I have read on many post that the rule of thumb on the starter/flywheel gap is a paper clip.  Are you talking about a regular or jumbo paper clip.  I just got through building a new 31ohv and having some issues shimming the denso correctly.
7  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Dual Valve Springs in 14.5 OHV on: March 05, 2010, 10:02:38 PM
I'm wanting to run the E.C. dual valve springs in my 14.5 OHV.  I have fabricated a 1/8 inch thick plate to go on the back side of the head to reinforce the head.  I'm going to run the E.C. roller rockers and bought longer bolts to extend through the backing plate.  My question is, is this plate enough?  I have both springs installed in the head, but haven't installed the head yet.  Wanting some opinions first.
8  Engine Help / Briggs Flathead / Briggs 8hp IC on: December 15, 2009, 01:18:09 PM
Hey guys, I'm about to begin a build on an A/P but I do not have an engine yet.  I'm looking for a Briggs 8hp IC but haven't been able to locate one yet. bash  Does anyone know of some mower brands and models that may have come out with this engine from the factory?  Anything will help. Thanks!
