I can hook you up with rockers and valve cover if your not in a hurry. The guy that makes em for me does this stuff at his work when the machines arent being used. It will be at least another month before he can get started, they have a big job in the shop at the moment. Want to see what they look like go look on my face book page in the pictures. If interested pm me and will give you the price

14  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: Piston Clearance on: October 12, 2014, 10:06:26 PM
Its the same gasket its a 28 and must be trimmed for the bigger bores
15  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: Piston Clearance on: October 12, 2014, 09:24:58 PM
#1 rule in building race motors, NEVER take it for granted its a drop in and go!! Your talking about mass produced engines designed to last a few years at 3600 rpm. Always check clearances always try to get an absolute minimum .030 clearance on anything moving that gets close to anything. I shoot for .040 minimum. Always test fit/dryfit everything.
Nick as for the gasket I am thinking they are .032 but will check n see.
