1  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: Intek 40 vertical to horizontal conversion on: April 20, 2014, 07:41:02 AM
The valves are splash lube even in the verticle setup. Its takes rpm to get it there. and a closed system meaning everything in olace like valve covers. Vannys are the same way and they lube the rockers no problem. SO rockers arent your worries the the obsticle your gonna have to figure out is the drain back after shutting off. Disect a horizontal vanny pump and pick up you will learn alot.
2  General / Coffee Shop / Re: As a safety , Should there be brake lights ? on: April 19, 2014, 09:39:44 PM
Been running them for years been run over and over and over they didnt help a bit. They were good at playing mind games with certain ones turn on leave em on turn em off  use right etc etc. its cool its cute but points. Yet a cool conversation piece.
3  For Sale / Mower Engines & Parts / HR Tillotson Carb on: April 18, 2014, 10:20:11 AM
Hr tillotson carb built by myself for Jakes backup motor but not needed as its still in a box since AAMC. Its a 1.125 venturi and 1.306 throttle bore. Setup on gas with filter adapter and ready to go. If your putting on a honda or clone 340 or bigger it will need an EC intake #454. If your using a briggs single will bolt directly to the head, if using a vanny twin with a single barrel intake it will botl to that!! To your door 250.00.  I will take paypal m/o or personal check and will ship when it clears the bank.
