8  Engine Help / Other Engines / flathead coil on: July 22, 2014, 07:54:23 PM
I am attempting to put a ARC wheel on a kawi 460 flathead and realize about the coil. I got the wheel used and only the wheel. does anyone see a problem on redrilling a briggs coil to fit, or am I asking for trouble. I have a mill so straight is not a problem. Any thoughts?  [go ahead and say it ED]

LET'S SOLVE THIS RIGHT NOW! PUT ONE IN, LET ED TRY IT, THEN PUT THE OTHER ONE IN AND LET ED TRY THAT. FIRST SEE WHICH ONE LIVES AND ED WILL TELL YOU WHICH ONE WON!

14  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: OHV OR FLATHEAD on: July 16, 2014, 10:40:47 AM
YOU MUST BE MORE SPECIFIC, THE OHV IS MORE EFFICIENT BUT IF YOU DO HORSE POWER TO HORSE POWER THEY WILL BE CLOSE. HORSE POWER IS A CALCULATION OF TORQUE! CUBIC IN TO CUBIC IN THE OHV WOULD PROBABLY WIN.
