3  General / Coffee Shop / Commercial Rates on: March 15, 2013, 09:54:38 PM
I got a call from a Production co. They want to rent mowers for a commercial. Has anyone done this and if so how much did you charge/get paid. They offered to put me up in a hotel because of the distance. Any input would be great. He also wouldn't tell what the commercial was about.

I just put 38" heads on a 35" vanguard. I am having trouble hooking up the throttle linkage on the 2bbl carb. If someone could post some pictures of what they did, it would be a big help.

6  Engine Help / Briggs OHV & Vanguard / ARC Flywheel on: April 13, 2012, 08:44:40 PM
I was trying to fire the boys mower when In realized there was no spark. So I changed the coil to no avail. Still no spark. I got a phone call, and while Talking I found the magnets in the ARC flywheel are bad. Any one else have this Problem? It ran the last race of the year OK.
It kind of irritates me off that you pay for good parts that don't last. So now the circus begins to get new magnets and take it all back apart to fix it.

12  Mower Building / Setup Help / Chassis / Brake problem on: March 26, 2011, 09:07:32 PM
I finally got to install and bleed the brakes on my new ride. They bled fine but don't get anywhere near the rotor. Complete MCP set up from EC. Is there a spring that pulls the pistons back? It says to adjust the pads, so I did. Now the pistons dont touch anything. They just go in and out. Is there some pad spacers to fix this? Theres .240" between the pads at rest. .125" thick rotor. What can I do to fix this?     Kevin
