It's been fun, but I'm done. Here's my non-affiliated mower that is basically an FXT style machine. Built this Craftsman several years ago and it has evolved to what you see here. I'll try to list all the ins and outs.
Engine was built at beginning of last season with about 6 races that year. Complete tear down before this season with new rings and heads sent back to Ryker for re-fresh with only 3 races on it as of today.
Model 38 vertical Vanguard bored for JE 2.997 pistons
PVT 4.625" rods (LONG)
Ryker built heads with only 3 races since he re-freshed them. These heads have the works. (Larger Stainless valves, springs, retainers, O-rings, shaved, ported)
EC 2 barrel
Cheetah cam (3 races old)
Hoosiers all put on this season
Real beadlock on right rear
RA gearbox new this year
1 1/4" moly axle, hubs, sprockets, etc. all new this year
Don't know exact weight but it's about 280lbs I'd say
I'm in Oil City, PA (Western PA) If any of you central or Eastern PA guys are interested, I should be at a race in Knoxdale, PA this Sat. Or we may be able to arrange a meeting at Dubois, PA Race1 Speedway if you want to see it run.
This video was from last year when I ran an 820 and turf tires. Too much motor for turf tires. It's lower, lighter, and faster this year.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WgNcRzTk9w
