Need to open up the low side jets sounds like to me.  There is a thread on here somewhere on how to jet the black tube Nikki carbs.  Do a search using "Black Tube Nikki" and it should come up

If it is a self contained unit with a gas engine driving a hydraulic pump you could get a different pump with more GPM to speed it up but you would loose force

Sorry, meant to say a 31 AVS and a 33 AVS.  Both are AVS sumps

Are the sump and cams interchangeable between the 2?  They appear to be but just want to verify.

Thanks, Tom

Curious, how do you know this?  Is there a sheet somewhere that has ring info?  Thanks for answering my question!

My brother-in-law ordered this ring set and thought it was for his 31 AVS motor but it's not, looks like it is for a non AVS but not sure.  Anyone know what they are for?

Another option is to reinforce the bolts in the external hole in the head.   I drilled a piece of flat steel that just fit into the hole.  Hold it tight and run a tap down through it installed in the head.  Use long bolts with red loctite.

I ran my FX engine 7500-7800 all the time with the EC dual springs.  Never had an issue.

Have any pics of that setup?

I thought you only ran the outer spring of the dual spring setup on the singles for that reason
