Honda and Clone Engines / rpms on stick or clay track
« on: July 01, 2014, 08:15:04 PM »
Last weekend I went to iowa did good when it was dusty out but when it was sticky I didn't do so good. I was pushing 5200 rpms. I built this motor with wild cam in it and able to hit 8000rpms with out blowing up. Honestly I don't think my motor was even close to power band when it was sticky im using cheeta grind I think it hits 7500rpms. So I was wondering if that's what im suppost to run for rpms if its wild cam and not a mild cam.

Tires / Question on D12 hoosiers
« on: September 20, 2013, 05:39:18 AM »
I had only 4 races on this mower and 3 of them with stock timing on flywheel. I was running turf masters different kinda tire pattern. After the race when i turned up the timing on flywheel to 3rd mark. I notice my turf tire was almost balled. In the race i was just spinning the tires  basicly sliding for 4 laps into the race then spinned out in the straight away and then my chain poped off. I was surprised i was in 1st place and 5 tractor lenghts ahead of anyone until I spinned out,  So i was wondering if the D12 tires would last longer then turf master tires.

Driveline / Long chain on fxs and fxt
« on: August 16, 2013, 03:35:02 AM »
I had a problem with having chain poping off the rear sprocket. It keeped pulling the axle forward on quick change rear sprocket side and hitting the fender when you hit the throttle. So we put another bearing and hanger in to help support it but it keeped throwing it still. So i order a chain guard from parsons racing which is the chain guard for quick change rear sprocket and so far its been not throwing chain anymore. I figure this would help to anyone who has or will have same problem.
