Want to post in this thread? What are the rules?. Do I have to answer the question with another question? Are there serious answers? So, I can post anything? As long as it ends in a question?

Driveline / Belt guide
« on: August 25, 2009, 02:53:26 PM »
I couldn't weld nuts to the frame (that would be too easy) the frame didn't line up. So I made a guide based on a stock aplication.

First I took a piece of angle iron and cut teeth in it.

Then i heated it up to help bend it around.

Then tweeked it to make sure it was round.

Welded the teeth .

Ground it down, get rid of all sharp edges.

Put it up in place, tweeking and making sure it fit.

Drilled holes in the guide and in the frame. Then I welded nuts into the holes.

then painted and installed it.

Sorry about the low quality pictures, I used my cellphone camera. :(  But i hope that this will help someone :)

ARMA Races / Harrisonburg ARMA National points race
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:22:42 PM »
It was nice to see the great turnout for Saturdays race. Mother Nature could have cooperated a little more but it was nice to be able to sit around and chat befor and after the race.

The track we did race on turn out to be fast and smooth for as small as it was. There was a couple problems on the track, but from what I have heard everyone will be ok. As for their mowers, thats a different story.

We got back to the Deere pen at 2am. Other than alittle fog, it was a good trip. It was good to see old freinds, Nanna and Big Daddy, the Barefoot Archery group, Dave and Adam, the Deeters, the Sowers, Old Goat, PJ and his group, Arron and his family, and WFO. I know that I left out a bunch. (I'm in a deficit of beauty sleep :tard: ) Gotta get the herd put back together for this weekends race. How..
